Flower is similar to standard water poppy, but leaves are much larger and heavily marked with reddish purple spots. An exceptional floating, perennial aquatic plant. This Cheerful, yellow plant with flowers spring forth from the mass of foliage when water temperatures reach at least 70 F. (21 C.). Water Poppy plants can be grown in any pond with a shallow bottom because they grow best when submerged about 6 inches. Even though the yellow flower blooms only last one day, rest assured that it will produce flowers throughout the summer growing season.
